Seeking inspiration from the Hoover Dam for managing tight project schedules

The Hoover dam was built during the great depression in the united states when the future seemed bleak and people were desolate. It was not only a beacon to millions of unemployed workers but also a marvel of American engineering. The construction began in 1931, not far from Las Vegas (Nevada) and ended in 1936. Around 5,200 laborers worked day and night to build the dam. The world’s largest refrigerator was used to cool the large amount of concrete used because of the heat and sun in Nevada.
